THE MANY FACES OF CHUCK BERRY
Son of the blues, boogie woogie and rhythm & blues, rock and roll was first known under the name of ‘jump blues’, a more rhythmic and sped up sub-genre of blues. With his guitar solos played on two or three strings simultaneously, with his strings stretching, his monumental stage presence and compositions in which he was able told complete stories in a few verses, Chuck Berry became back then an artist to watch. Among his fans are superstars such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Animals, Motorhead, The Sex Pistols, The Beach Boys, David Bowie, Electric Light Orchestra, AC/DC, Elton John, Eric Clapton and Elvis Presley just to name some of them.
Now the time has come for the legendary Chuck to get The Many Faces treatment, with long lost recordings available in vinyl for the first time in decades, plus an exploration of both his catalog and the scene where he came from.
With fantastic artwork and remastered sound, The Many Faces of Chuck Berry is the most recent addition to our Many Faces collection in vinyl format. And remember that the album is not available on streaming platforms!
