Influenced
by ignored artists of the 70s such as The Velvet Underground,
The Stooges or Brian Eno, the post punk movement began
as a reformulation of punk rock, offering a more ingenious
and refined sound. Under its wing, groups such as Joy
Division, Bauhaus, Jesus And Mary Chain, Love And Rockets
and The Mission were able to develop. All of these appear
on the album Post Punk, a triple CD that is without
a doubt the most ambition project ever undertaken with
regards to this genre. The album contains a notable
selection of tracks as well as exhaustive liner notes
about the participating artists.
The sound that is the main influence of groups such
as Franz Ferdinand, Interpol, Coldplay and The Killers
contains 46 songs that are an inclusive summary for
